Before you write, the answers to what gets asked most.

“An agent shows Idle or Not connected while it's working.”

Awakado hears from each agent through a small hook it adds to the agent's settings. Turn on Agent mode and choose Connect, and Awakado adds it. An agent that was already running picks it up at its next step. Codex also asks you to trust new hooks once: run /hooks in Codex and approve Awakado.

“Gemini shows as Closed, but it's open.”

Awakado supports Gemini CLI, the coding agent that runs in Terminal. The Gemini chat app doesn't report what it's doing, so Awakado can't see it.

“Lid-closed mode asks for approval.”

macOS always sleeps when the lid closes. Keeping it awake needs a small helper, and macOS asks you to allow it once in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions. Awakado brings you back to its Lid closed page as soon as you approve it. If you move the app, open Lid closed and choose Set up again.

“I can't see Awakado in the menu bar.”

On a MacBook with a full menu bar, icons can hide behind the camera notch. Quit another menu-bar app, or hold ⌘ and drag icons to make room. Opening Awakado from Applications or Spotlight always brings up its window.

“The Mac went to sleep in the middle of a run.”

Open Awakado and look at Activity: every sleep has a reason. Most often it's the battery floor or the temperature limit, which you can change in Settings. The Activity log shows them as Safety stop.

Licences

A Pro licence works on up to 3 Macs. To move it, open License on the old Mac and choose Deactivate this Mac, then activate on the new one. Your key is in the receipt email from Lemon Squeezy.

Refunds

Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy. If something's wrong with your purchase, or Awakado isn't working for you, email and I'll sort it out.

Found a bug?

A report is most useful with the version from Settings, and the log from Activity > Export. The log only holds what Awakado did and why, with battery and lid state.
